I've written a lot in 2013 as it's the peak of my life as a fanficcer in SHINee World. This is an analysis of my activity as well as some points I might need to remember when I write fics for 2014.

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
Definitely. I haven't written this much for years and I had a dry spell in terms of writing for a long time. I think it's very fortunate that I managed to get into SHINee fandom not only to know SHINee themselves and to meet friends, but also to reopen the opportunity for me to write freely.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January?
For pairings: OnHo, 2Min, JongHo, JongTae
For genre: smut, angst, 3somes definitely

What's your own favorite story of the year?
Oh god, I can't decide basically because I don't know if any of my work is worthy of becoming a favorite ^^;. But I guess it's either Weekly Reset or Greensong.

Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?
I wrote a multichaptered! And I learned that I suck at it, hahah! Then I wrote semi-smut and smut, which are things I never planned to write at all. I guess it's a double-edged sword for me? I've got people telling me I'll probably write decent smut and they said I really did, but I also had people telling me not to deviate from my fluff writing and just continue as before, LOL.

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the new year?
Aside from finishing my WIPs, I'd like to write more leisurely without feeling pressure from requests and prompts. I'd also like to take more liberties with my writing, explore more genres and write other pairings more. Maybe I can finally write character analysis fics, too.

Most fun story to write:
Basically all the London!MinKey fics I wrote XD; They're so cute then and I was soooo enabled. And there's also that Fireman!OnHo XD.

Story with the single sexiest moment:
My personal favorite is from Drink Up where Taemin looks up at Jonghyun after blowing him. The picture helped a lot okay XD;

Most "holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story:
I HAVE A LOT. Ruffles because it's het AND smut omg. Stepping It Up because it's feet worship and I've never even written it before. Test because it's my first smut and involves Jinki taking in tons of guys. Designer because it's leather kink and I've never even thought of it before.

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
When I entered the fandom, my first impression of Jonghyun is really bad so I thought of him as a little asshole-y. But as I wrote Camera Hyung and Weekly Reset, I've managed to explore his good sides more and more and it's awesome.

Hardest story to write:
Camera Hyung. LOL.

Biggest disappointment:
Heartbreaker. I got scared of continuing it because of negative comments even though I really, really liked the premise and had planned the whole fic.

Biggest surprise:
Ruffles. I never had the intention of writing SHINee x you fics, much more smut. So when this idea came up and basically wrote itself I'm just...

Most unintentionally telling story:
My publishing au, definitely. As I work irl in that industry, I sometimes include details that pertain to my mood at work on the time of writing (like the editorial's supreme hate for sales officers, etc.)

New year's resolutions:
Finish wips. Do not set boundaries in writing. Do not get discouraged by negative comments.
